Founded in Bristol in 2009 by a registered dietitian and a former newspaper editor, healthyfood.org publishes recipes and articles that are tested twice, reviewed by clinicians, and written in plain English. We've grown to 280,000 subscribers across 14 countries.

01 — EDITORIAL STANDARD

Reviewed by a clinician

Every health article is read by a registered dietitian or medical doctor before publication. Recipes are signed off by our nutrition team for nutrient balance.

02 — INDEPENDENCE

No brand-paid recipes

We don't accept payment to feature ingredients, brands, or products. Subscription revenue and a small number of display ads pay the bills.

03 — METHOD

Twice-tested kitchen

A recipe runs in the kitchen twice — once by the developer, once by an independent cook — before it appears on the site. If it doesn't work, it doesn't ship.
