Frequently asked questions

Can't find what you're looking for? Get in touch and we'll reply within two working days.

Are your recipes really approved by a dietitian?

Yes. Every recipe is signed off by a member of our nutrition team — all qualified dietitians or registered nutritionists — for nutrient balance and reasonable serving sizes before it appears on the site.

What does a subscription include?

The printed magazine (12 issues a year), full access to our 4,200-recipe archive, the meal-plan builder with shopping-list export, all downloadable guides, and ad-free reading on every device.

How do I cancel?

Sign in, go to Account → Subscription, and click Cancel. No phone calls, no forms — and you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Can I save recipes without subscribing?

Yes. A free account lets you save up to 25 favourites and one active meal plan. Subscribers get unlimited saves and unlimited plans.

Is the advice safe if I have a medical condition?

Our articles are written for general health and aren't a substitute for medical care. If you have a condition such as diabetes, IBS, kidney disease or an eating disorder, please work alongside your doctor or a registered dietitian.

Do you accept sponsored content or paid recipe placements?

No. We don't take money to feature ingredients, brands or products. We do run a small number of display ads, which are clearly labelled Advertisement.

Where can I read about your editorial standards?

See our About page for the full editorial policy, conflict-of-interest declarations and the qualifications of every contributor.

How can I contribute a recipe?

We commission a small number of guest recipes each issue. Email editors@healthyfood.org with two existing recipes, a short bio, and links to your portfolio or socials.
